Overview of Allergies

Some of the common reasons behind allergies also include food allergies, seasonal allergies, or a variety of mold, and animal allergies. These allergies cause different types of symptoms like asthma, itchy eyes, nose congestion, sneezing, wheezing, and  skin conditions like rashes and prickly skin.

While the immune system  produces a substance  known as ‘antibodies' which protects you from these  unwanted trespassers  and it is during the course of action taken by the antibodies that we experience  allergies like skin conditions, sinuses, breathing and other digestive disorders. The severity of these allergies varies from person to person and can range from minor irritation to a budding critical emergency.

The typical symptoms of allergy can be classified into three categories'

Mild

 Moderate

Severe.

While mild allergic symptoms include minor inconveniences like itching, watery eyes, nose congestion or rash, a moderate allergic condition include symptoms which spreads to other internal organs in the body like lungs, excretory system, etc., Severe allergic condition or Anaphylaxis can cause life threatening symptoms which effects the entire body and progresses within minutes. Its symptoms are swelling, diarrhea, nausea, difficulty in breathing, severe abdominal pain, cramps, etc.
